Free Candy For Everyone

After lots of effort and energy, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is coming out next week! I’m eager to see how it does, there’s been a lot of great response to the demo so I just hope people have some fun with it. We’re doing a midnight launch event at the big Best Buy in San Francisco, so if you’re in the area, come on down!

I haven’t decided if I’m going yet, since I don’t really need signatures from my co-workers or anything. But it could be fun, and I know a lot of LucasArts people will be there. As well as “other special guests”. Maybe they mean me! Haha.

Some people have read about layoffs occurring at LucasArts and I’m getting lots of concerned emails from friends wondering if I’m ok. Just wanted to let everyone know that I’m still employed. I can’t speak to any of the rumors about what is going on or what projects we have going on, but I’m still here and expect to be for some time to come. Thanks for worry about me!

I can hardly believe it, but today was my one year anniversary at my current job. I’ve been working at LucasArts exactly a year today. It certainly doesn’t feel like over a year since I picked up and moved across the country. But there you go. Time flies and all that! Happy anniversary to me!
