Sometime around when I wrote my LOL Cats post, this phenomenon became even more huge. I’m not sure what’s going on, since it’s been around for at least 6 months now, but it seems to be showing up everywhere.
I just stopped by the Yahoo home page and the top searches looked like this:

Last week my brother pointed me at a site that will LOL-Catsify your blog’s feed. Here’s a link to what my blog feed looks like. I particularly like the image that got paired with my “LOL Cats, FTW” post. It just works for me.
There was an article on Slate about the craze last month as well. Which leads you to the LOLrus insanity too. This one was new to me. It apparently starts here and then just continues all over the place.
