There’s a Crazy Cat Lady in World of Warcraft. You know what she does? She sells cats. Yes. It’s awesome.
Grouped with a couple of folks in Westfall today who had cats following them everywhere and had to go find out how to get my own. Lots of guides to noncombat pets out here, here’s one if you’re really serious about being thorough. I wish I hadn’t missed Orphan’s week. The pigs are super cute.

Poor Donna Anthony. That was the real name of Katricia, Blizzard’s community manager back in beta and I think the start of retail WoW. The Crazy Cat Lady was named in her honour. But she just disappeared one day with a press announcement that she was no longer working for Blizzard. Nobody knows if she was fired or quit, but she was quickly replaced by Caydiem, and the rest is history. I always preferred Kat, too.
It was hinted alot that it was because of her.. rather inhospitable nature towards complainers on the forums.
But yeah, the Cat Lady is a golden WoW classic.
Oooh, I can’t wait to find her! I wander around Stormwind all the time, but I’ve never seen her.
